By scheduling, authorizing, or receiving services from Transition Motorwerks, you agree to the terms outlined below. Our goal is to protect both our customers and our business while ensuring clear communication, fairness, and compliance with all applicable North Carolina laws.
These Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”) govern the provision of automotive services by Transition Motorwerks (“we,” “us,” or “Company”) to the customer (“you” or “Customer”). By requesting, scheduling, or receiving services from us, you agree to be bound by the terms below.
We offer automotive repair, maintenance, custom fabrication, and related services. All services will be performed in a professional manner in accordance with industry standards. Specific services and deliverables will be described in a separate Service Order, Invoice, or Estimate provided to you.
a. Written Estimates: If the estimated cost of repair exceeds $350.00, we will provide a written estimate before beginning work, as required by North Carolina law. (North Carolina General Assembly)
b. Estimate Authorization: By signing or accepting the estimate, you authorize us to perform the work described.
c. Changes in Cost: If actual costs exceed the written estimate by more than 10%, we will notify you for approval before proceeding. (lordlindley.com)
a. Payment Terms: Payment is due in full upon completion of services unless other written arrangements are made in advance.
b. Accepted Payments: We accept cash, credit/debit cards, and other payment methods as displayed at the time of service.
c. Late Payments: Unpaid balances may be subject to interest, finance charges, or collection costs if not paid within the agreed terms.
a. Service Warranty: We may offer warranties on parts or labor; details of such warranties (if any) will be provided in writing.
b. No Implied Warranty: Except as expressly stated, all services and parts are provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, either express or implied.
a. You agree to provide accurate information about your vehicle and its condition.
b. You are responsible for removing personal items from the vehicle prior to service.
c. You must pay applicable sales taxes on parts and services.
a. Parts: Unless otherwise agreed, replaced parts become property of the Company.
b. Hazardous Materials: We reserve the right to charge for disposal of hazardous materials if required by law.
a. You authorize us to move your vehicle on our premises as necessary for service or storage.
b. Vehicles not picked up within 14 days after completion of service may incur storage fees, at our discretion.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Company’s liability for damages arising out of or related to our services shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific service at issue.
Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms and Conditions shall be resolved through negotiation in good faith. If unresolved, disputes may be handled through small claims or district court in the county of our principal place of business.
This Agreement is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of North Carolina.
By authorizing work or using our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understand, and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
